DR. NEVA SHEBINI MBBS BSc (Hons) MRCPsych FRANZCP

Dr Shebini completed a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Anatomy in 1999 and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2002 in Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas medical schools, London.

She embarked upon a Psychiatry career and completed 7 years of training with South West London & St George’s Mental Health Trust. She became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2009 and obtained her Certificate of Completion of Psychiatry training in 2012.

She decided to move to Australia in 2013 and worked with Ramsay Private Healthcare as a Consulting Psychiatrist within the inpatient unit and alongside a full time outpatient practice. In 2015 she completed her Specialist exams and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of psychiatrists.

Over the last few years she has strived to learn how to help clients suffering with trauma experiences. She is passionate about continuing professional development, and devotes a significant amount of time to undertake specialised trauma therapy training and self-directed learning. She has been fortunate enough to have had world class supervision from specialists in the field, that has assisted her in the journey of healing trauma.

She works closely with clients who have PTSD, complex PTSD, Dissociative disorders, Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), addictions, complex medical presentations and general adult psychiatric conditions. She also works with Military Veterans who have suffered PTSD as as result of their service.

She opened a trauma centre that facilitates a multi-modal approach to helping the trauma sufferer. More recently she has been training in Integrative Medicine for Psychiatry, a whole-body approach that offers innovative approaches in the healing of mental and physical suffering.
